Prior to their current role, Avinash was the Director of Lifesciences at Pioneer investcorp from January 2012 to June 2013. Avinash was also the Vice President of Lifesciences at SBI Capital Markets from September 2009 to January 2012.

Avinash also has a Bachelor's Degree in Medicine and Surgery from Grant Medical College.
