Mark McQueen is an experienced database administrator with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as Lead Database Administrator at Computer Projects of Illinois since January 2001, Mark manages database administration for various systems including Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres, and MySQL, focusing on backup and recovery, performance tuning, and installation. Previously, Mark worked as an Oracle Consultant at ContiGroup Commodities, successfully managing a data migration project under budget, and held the position of Senior Business Analyst at Cargill, playing a crucial role in integrating information systems post-acquisition. Mark began the career at Continental Grain, where responsibilities included oversight of the Enhanced Grain II system for a significant regional operation. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from DePaul University and the University of Illinois Chicago.
