Alicia Carter is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in social work and student support. Since September 2015, Alicia has served as a Student Support Specialist at Communities In Schools of North Carolina, where responsibilities include providing assistance to students in need. Prior to this role, Alicia worked as a Family Assessor at the Gaston County Department of Health and Human Services from November 2008 to September 2015. Alicia holds a bachelor's degree in Social Work from Appalachian State University (2006-2008) and a provisional certification in School Social Work from North Carolina State University (2013).
