Alan Jarvis is an experienced professional with a background in construction and education. Currently serving as the Director of Works at the Commonwealth War Graves Commission since June 2012, Alan provides strategic oversight for construction projects worldwide. Prior to this role, Alan held positions in marketing at Yotov Stone Ltd. and as Head of the School of Construction at East Berkshire College, overseeing a team of 40 staff and managing 900 students. Additionally, Alan served as a part-time lecturer in construction at Thames Valley University. Alan holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Building Surveying from South Bank University, earned between 1993 and 1995, and completed secondary education at Greg Grammar School from 1968 to 1974.
