Matthew Posey is a dedicated educator and professional with diverse experience in both academia and industry. Currently serving as a Professor at The College of the Florida Keys since December 2021, Matthew also holds the position of Student Lab Assistant at the same institution. As a co-founder of Sailing By Grace since December 2017, Matthew has contributed to community-focused initiatives. Previous roles include Media Director at Life Pointe Church and Pathway Church in Mobile, Alabama, from August 2018 to August 2020 and February 2017 to August 2018, respectively. Matthew served in the US Coast Guard from September 1997 to August 2015. In terms of education, Matthew is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Technical Management at Southern New Hampshire University and has completed an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Marine Engineering, Management, and Seamanship at The College of the Florida Keys. Additionally, Matthew has ongoing educational endeavors at Liberty University since 2013.
