Lisa Craig, MHL, RHIA has over 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Lisa began their career in 1993 as Billing Manager at Redding Urologic Associates. In 2007, they moved to Northern California Surgical Group as Practice Manager, where they were responsible for auditing, evaluating, and streamlining practice functions and accounting, as well as building and maintaining electronic health records and IT troubleshooting and support. In 2015, Lisa began working at Shasta Community Health Center as Director of Health Information and Health Information Services Manager and Privacy Officer. In this role, they were responsible for the maintenance of patient health records, policy and procedure, and implementation of HIPAA regulations, as well as training of electronic health records usage and records security. Currently, Lisa is a Customer Success Manager at Collective Medical a PointClickCare Company, where they are consulting and supporting customers using Collective Medical SaaS for care coordination. Collective Medical helps to identify the utilization patterns of the most vulnerable patients getting them connected with appropriate care and assistance related SDoH.
Lisa Craig, MHL, RHIA has a diverse educational background. Lisa obtained their Master's degree in Healthcare Leadership from Western Governors University in 2019. Lisa also obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Health Informatics/Medical Records Administration from Western Governors University in 2017. In 1995-1997, they attended Shasta College for Business Management. Additionally, they obtained their Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA®) certification from AHIMA in September 2017. Lisa also holds certifications from CompTIA in Project+ and Strata.
