Kelvin Sundli has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Kelvin has worked as a Technical Program Manager at Cognite since 2023, where they are responsible for product strategy and operations. Prior to that, they served as a Data Science Lead in Cognite's Manufacturing vertical, heading a cross-functional team of project managers, solution architects, data engineers, and data scientists.

Kelvin also worked as a Senior Data Scientist and Crew Lead in Smart Maintenance at Cognite, where they led and managed a team of data scientists, project managers, solution architects, software engineers, and industry experts. Additionally, they worked as a Data Scientist at Cognite and was responsible for delivering data-driven solutions.

Before joining Cognite, Kelvin worked as an External Examiner at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), grading MSc theses in Simulation and Visualization. Kelvin has also held positions as a Consultant at Inventas and Acando Norge, where they delivered projects in the IIoT department, focusing on smart construction site applications with power monitoring and computer vision sensing.

Kelvin started their career as a Service Engineer at VARD, specializing in global service and commissioning of power, electronic, and automated systems on various types of vessels. Kelvin also worked as a Student Assistant at NTNU and served as an Apprentice at Ulmatec, manufacturing, servicing, and commissioning heating and heat recovery systems on offshore vessels. Additionally, they gained experience as an Unskilled Labourer at VARD, where they worked on fitting, building, installing, and testing control systems for ships.

In their early career, Kelvin worked as a Service Attendant at Circle K Europe. Overall, Kelvin Sundli has a strong background in data science, project management, and engineering within the manufacturing and maritime sectors.

Kelvin Sundli's education history is as follows:

Kelvin obtained a Master's degree in Data Analytics from the University of Glasgow, from 2017 to 2018.

Prior to that, from 2014 to 2017, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineer Technology/Technician from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).

Before their bachelor's degree, Kelvin studied at Borgund and Haram Upper Secondary from 2009 to 2012, where they received a degree in Automation Technician.

Additionally, Kelvin has several certifications. Kelvin obtained "Getting Started With Julia" from Udemy in May 2019, "Internet of Things" from Acando Norge in April 2019, and "\u00c5 gj\u00f8re presentasjoner (AGP)" from Acando Norge in March 2019.

Before these certifications, Kelvin received the following certifications: "Foundations of Data Science: Computational Thinking with Python", "Foundations of Data Science: Inferential Thinking by Resampling", and "Foundations of Data Science: Prediction and Machine Learning", from the University of California, Berkeley in December 2018.

In addition to these, Kelvin also holds a Certificate of Apprenticeship in Automation, obtained in February 2014, and certifications in "Human Machine Interface" and "Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) - Mitsubishi", obtained in 2013 from Beijer Electronics.
