Julia Lawrence has an extensive work experience in the field of medical and clinical development. Julia is currently working as a Senior Medical Director at Cogent Biosciences since December 2022. Prior to that, they held roles at Olema Oncology as Vice President of Clinical Development and Executive Medical Director from January 2021 to July 2022. Julia also worked as a Senior Medical Director at Kezar Life Sciences from September 2019 to January 2021.

Before transitioning to industry roles, Julia Lawrence had a career in academia, serving as an Associate Professor at Wake Forest University from August 2006 to November 2015. Prior to that, they were an Assistant Professor at Louisiana State University from January 2002 to July 2006.

Julia Lawrence has also contributed to the field of oncology through their role as a Head Oncologist and Senior Medical Director at Synteract from July 2018 to August 2019, and as a Senior Medical Director at Novella Clinical from November 2015 to July 2018. Additionally, they gained valuable experience as a Program Director at the National Cancer Institute (NCI) from January 1994 to January 2000.

Julia Lawrence is currently pursuing a Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O) in Osteopathic Medicine/Osteopathy at New York Institute of Technology since 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree from New York University.
