Nuno Freitas has a long history of work experience in the technology industry. Nuno began their career in 2006 as a Researcher and Developer at GECAD, where they developed a racing simulation using the physics engine ODE and C++. In 2007, they became a Freelancer, where they worked closely with a design firm for the development of websites and promotional material. From 2008 to 2012, they worked as a Developer at Tam Tam, where they were mainly responsible for front-end and back-end development for public facing websites and intranets. In 2012, they founded Quasibit, where they did web development and consulting work for other businesses, working remotely. From 2015 to 2017, they worked at CodersClan as the Chief Technology Officer and Tech Lead, and from 2017 to present, they have been the Chief Technology Officer and Tech Lead at AirFleet.
Nuno Freitas completed a Licence in Computer Science, Computer engineering, and Development at Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto from 2006-2007. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor in the same field from Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto from 2003-2006. In 2008, they attended U2U - .NET Training Services. Nuno also obtained certifications from Audiência Zero in Animation in Blender, Materials and Textures in Blender, and Introduction to Modeling in Blender in December 2007. In June 2006, they obtained a Usability: Interactive Systems User Centered Design certification from GILT (DEI ISEP). Finally, they obtained a Microsoft .NET Framework - Application Development Foundation: Exam 70-536 certification from Global Knowledge (Zoetermeer, The Netherlands).
