Darren Cumbie has a diverse work experience spanning several positions and companies. Darren started working at Hawkes Learning Systems in 2002 as a Software Development Manager and held this role for 12 years until 2014. In 2014, they joined CodeLynx, Inc. where they had multiple roles, including DevOps Engineer, Director of DevOps and Network Operations, and Director of Software Development. Currently, Darren serves as the Chief Technology Officer at CodeLynx, Inc. starting from July 2020.

Darren Cumbie holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering and Mathematics, obtained from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, where they studied from 1998 to 2002. Darren also holds a certification as a Certified Scrum Product Owner from the Scrum Alliance, obtained in 2012.
