Jacob Galyean is an experienced educator and upcoming computer science professional. Currently serving as a teacher at CodaKid since June 2022, Jacob teaches coding to students ages 6-18, covering languages such as Java, Python, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and Lua through personalized sessions. In early 2024, Jacob will work as a grader for the Architecture of Computers course at Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis. Prior to these roles, Jacob gained experience at Menards as a downstocker, responsible for managing stock levels on the sales floor. Jacob is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics from Purdue University, expected to graduate in 2024, and plans to continue education with a Master's degree in Computer Science at the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering from August 2024 to May 2025.
