Janet Shumsky has a diverse background in safety and health roles, starting as a Fire Protection Specialist Trainee 1 at NYS Office of Fire Prevention and Control. Currently, Janet is the Agency Safety and Health Director 1 at NYS Thruway Authority, with previous experience as an Administrative Assistant at Coarc and safety roles at various other organizations such as NYS Department of Transportation and University at Albany.
