Michael Zhou is a skilled technologist with a robust background in metallurgical and chemical sciences. Currently serving as a Technologist at Coanda Research & Development since October 2022, Michael has previously held the role of Senior Metallurgical Technologist at SGS, where responsibilities included performing flotation processes and conducting lock-cycle tests. Michael’s extensive experience began at Barrick Gold Corporation as a Metallurgical Technician from May 2008 to November 2016, focusing on optimizing flotation processes and conducting various leaching tests. Earlier experience includes working as an Organics Lab Technician at Exova Group Limited, where analytical quality and training of staff were key responsibilities. Michael Zhou holds a Diploma of Chemical Sciences, specializing in Environmental Chemistry, from the British Columbia Institute of Technology, completed between 2003 and 2005.
