Zach Clarke is a Carbon Projects Officer at CO2balance, responsible for managing carbon projects related to safe water and improved efficiency cookstoves in rural Ethiopia, as well as assisting in the development of Nature-based Solutions (NbS) projects. Previously, Zach served as a Carbon Project Developer at Seaweed Generation, where a stakeholder engagement framework was developed to address the needs of communities in Antigua and Barbuda affected by Sargassum inundations. Earlier roles included a Nature-based Solutions Project Researcher at CO2balance, where a project proposal was created focusing on seaweed within a carbon methodology context, and an Auxiliar de Conversación at ConversaSpain, teaching English to primary students. Additional experience includes participation in a climate change course led by Oxford University experts and a background as a delivery driver for Uber. Zach holds a Master's degree in Global Sustainability Solutions from the University of Exeter and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from The University of Edinburgh, complemented by an Erasmus program at Lund University in Bedrock Geology.
