Lance R. Lewis, MBA has extensive work experience in various leadership roles within the healthcare and non-profit sectors. Lance R. began their career in 1998 as the Director of Legislative and Public Affairs for the California State Student Association, where they developed skills in public policy advocacy and legislative analysis. In 1999, they joined the California Medical Association as the Director of Legislative Services, focusing on analyzing health care-related legislation and regulatory actions. Lance R. later served as the Associate Vice President, managing lobbyists and the legislative program, before being promoted to Chief Operating Officer in 2007. In this role, they oversaw the organization's administrative and operational support centers and directed strategic and financial planning for the association.

In 2009, Lance became the Chief Financial Officer of the California Public Protection and Physician Health, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing patient safety through programs that assist health professionals. Their responsibilities included financial management and providing consultation and technical assistance. Lance R. also served as the Chief Financial Officer of Physicians for a Healthy California, starting in 2017. In this role, they managed the organization's finances and played a key role in improving community health and addressing health equity.

Lance also has experience as the Chief Executive Officer of PSO Services LLC from 2016 to 2020. Overall, Lance R. Lewis, MBA has a wealth of experience in executive leadership, finance management, legislative analysis, and strategic planning within the healthcare and non-profit sectors.

Lance R. Lewis, MBA, completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations at USC Marshall School of Business from 2013 to 2015. Prior to their MBA, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science from UC Santa Barbara between 1996 and 1998. Additionally, Lance attended Moorpark College from 1992 to 1996, where they studied Political Science and Computer Science, although they did not obtain a specific degree from this institution.

In terms of additional certifications, Lance obtained an Amateur Radio License - General Class from the Federal Communications Commission in April 2018.
