Elizabeth Milito has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Elizabeth began their career as a Judicial Law Clerk at the Supreme Court of Maryland, where they drafted and researched opinions. Elizabeth then worked as a Trial Attorney at Nationwide Insurance, handling personal injury and insurance defense matters. After that, they served as a Senior Attorney at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, providing legal advice on various matters affecting VA medical centers. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Executive Counsel at the Small Business Legal Center of the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), where they manage litigation and amicus curiae briefs and also serves as a media spokesperson and testifies before legislative and regulatory entities.
Elizabeth Milito graduated from The George Washington University with a Bachelor's Degree in History. Elizabeth then attended the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, where they obtained their Juris Doctor degree. Elizabeth has various Bar Admissions, including from The Supreme Court of the United States, the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit, the D.C. Bar, and the State of Maryland.
