Gareth Tromans, with an MSc in Data Science from Edinburgh Napier University, has extensive experience in project management and business intelligence. Currently serving as a Project Manager at Virgin Money since July 2009, Gareth oversees the implementation of new data solutions for the reporting and insight team. Previously, Gareth worked at Northern Rock from November 2004 to June 2009, holding various roles including Business Intelligence Specialist, Project Analyst, Resource Analyst, and Personal Loan Consultant, where responsibilities included loan sales and staff training in basic Excel skills. In addition to a strong focus on data, Gareth has pursued certifications in SAS and mortgage advising, as well as a degree in music production from Newcastle College.
