Guilherme Saraiva Martins

Customer Support Executive at Close

Guilherme Saraiva Martins has had a varied and extensive career in the technology and engineering fields. Starting in 2010, they served as the Technical Director for Lizard Informática, where they were responsible for the design of network infrastructure projects for B2B clients, implementation of virtualized PoS architecture with Thin Clients, and deployment of customer-facing Wireless Access Point infrastructure. Guilherme was also responsible for the tech support activities of the company, including remote and on-site support, as well as heading the computer maintenance and repair shop.

In 2015, Martins began an internship with the Secretaria do Desenvolvimento Agrário do Ceará, where they were attached to the administrative, engineering, and maintenance departments. During this period, they were responsible for helping manage the contract for electricity power for the SDA, resulting in a 5% reduction in the cost of electricity per annum. Guilherme also designed and oversaw the execution of a major building maintenance/construction project.

In 2019, Martins began working with the Corpo de Bombeiros Militar do Estado do Ceará as an Intern, where they were responsible for revising the Technical Notes of the CBMCE and designing and presenting a project for updating the electrical installations of the Comando de Engenharia e Prevenção de Incêndio to be code-compliant (CEPI). Additionally, they conducted directed studying of the relevant Technical Notes of the CBMCE with the purpose of acquiring expertise in the making of fire prevention and mitigation projects.

Martins is currently employed as a Customer Support Executive at Close, a position they have held since 2022.

Guilherme Saraiva Martins received their Licentiate degree in History from the Federal University of Ceara in 2006. Guilherme then went on to pursue their Master's degree in History, also from the Federal University of Ceara, which they completed in 2011. Finally, they completed their Bachelor of Engineering - BE in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Federal University of Ceara in 2019.
