Amund Thompson has worked in the IT field since 1997. Amund started out as a Computer Technician at Lan Pro Systems in 1997. In 2000, they became the Owner and Computer Technician at Comtech Systems. In 2008, they worked as a System Administrator Consultant at BriarPatch Co-op. Since 2009, they have worked at Clientworks, Inc. in roles such as Information Technology Service Delivery Manager and System Administrator II.

Amund Thompson attended Nevada Union High School from 1994 to 1997, where they participated in the ROP Electronics Program. From 1996 to 2014, they attended Sierra College.
