Erica McCarter currently serves as the Executive Director of HR Operations at CLEVELAND ISD since March 2024, following a brief tenure as the Sr. Executive Director of Compensation and Data Analytics at Houston ISD. Previously, Erica held the position of Executive Director of HR Operations at CLEVELAND ISD from June 2022 to January 2024 and served as Human Resources Director. Erica's career in human resources began at New Caney Independent School District as an HR Coordinator from June 2014 to May 2022 and includes experience as an Administrative Assistant at Harris County Veteran Services and Sales/Divisional Training Manager at Purpose Financial. Erica holds a Master of Jurisprudence in Employment and Labor Law from Tulane University Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Houston-Downtown.
