Scott Steele is an accomplished medical professional currently serving as President of the Main Campus and Chairman of the Department of Colorectal Surgery at Cleveland Clinic since November 2016. Prior to this role, Scott held the position of Division Chief and Associate Director of Surgical Services at University Hospitals from July 2015 to October 2016, where responsibilities included Vice Chairman for Clinical Affairs in the Department of Surgery. Scott’s earlier experience includes serving as a Surgeon and Chief of the Division of Colorectal Surgery in the Army from July 1998 to June 2015. Scott earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemistry from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
