Sarah Boyd is a seasoned public relations professional with extensive experience in law enforcement media relations. Currently serving as the Public Relations Manager at the Clay County Sheriff's Office since July 2021, Sarah oversees media and community engagement, acts as the spokesperson, and manages social media and website content. Previously, Sarah served as a Public Relations Specialist for the Kansas City Missouri Police Department from February 2007 to July 2021, where responsibilities included writing press releases and managing the department’s social media. Sarah began their career as a reporter for The Olathe News, covering various beats, after completing a Bachelor of Arts in Communication: Journalism from Truman State University in 2004.
