MichaelJohn Carnevale serves as the Deputy City Manager for the City of Winter Haven since December 2011, fostering collaborative relationships across departments and navigating complex operational and capital project issues. Prior experience includes roles as Public Works Director and Director of Natural Resources, where management focused on lake water quality, hydrology, and stormwater projects. Previous positions include Project Manager at the University of Florida for the Everglades net ecosystem exchange project, Ag Business Development Manager at Moreno Ranches Inc., and various research assistant roles in hydrology and ecology. MichaelJohn holds multiple degrees from the University of Florida, including a Master of Science in Soil and Water Science and a Master of Agribusiness, alongside leadership training from the American Public Works Association and local leadership programs.
