Darius White, MSM, serves as the Economic Development Coordinator for the City of Urbana, Illinois, since November 2020, following a tenure as Executive Director of the Urbana Business Association from October 2019 to November 2020. Prior experience includes roles as Adult & Senior Program Coordinator at Champaign Park District (2012-2019), Chair of the University Board (2011-2012), New Student Program Specialist (2010-2012), and Internship Coordinator for the Office of Minority Affairs (2012). Darius has also been involved with the Humble Homeless Project and served as a Youth Counselor for A.L.O.V.E. Additionally, Darius held various leadership positions within Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Project Management from Colorado Technical University and a double Bachelor of Science in Family Services & Consumer Studies and Business Administration from Eastern Illinois University.
