Melissa Harmer, CPM, serves as the Communications Director for the City of Raymore, Missouri, since June 2017, following a previous role as Communications Manager. With a strong foundation in photography, Melissa managed a boutique portrait business, Melissa McGhee Photography, from March 2006 to June 2024, focusing on heirloom images and exceptional customer service. Additional experience includes freelance production assistance for commercial photography and video in the Kansas City area and photography roles at PhotoWeb Multimedia, where high-quality images and 360-degree virtual tours were provided for hotels. Melissa began their career assisting various commercial photographers and holds a B.S. in Photography with a minor in Journalism from the University of Central Missouri.
