Melinda Brown, MPA, C.P.M., has extensive experience in community engagement and business development, currently serving as the Community Engagement Manager and Main Street Manager/CVB Coordinator for the City of Plainview since January 2015. Prior to this role, Melinda held the position of Director of Business Development at Plainview Healthcare Center from March 2008 to December 2014, overseeing all marketing activities for a long-term care and rehabilitation facility. Melinda's earlier roles included Marketing Consultant for Plainview Surgical Care and various positions in insurance and political campaign management, showcasing a strong background in public relations, marketing strategy, and event coordination. Melinda holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Texas A&M University and a Master in Public Administration from Texas Tech University.
