Jessica Brooks is a seasoned law enforcement professional with extensive experience in various roles within the City of Newburgh, New York, currently serving as a Police Sergeant since September 2014. Responsibilities include supervising and training officers in the Patrol Division, as well as community engagement aimed at resolving local issues. Jessica's career encompasses roles as a Field Training Officer, Community Affairs Sergeant, and Police Detective, with a focus on investigating felony crimes, including child exploitation. In addition, Jessica has experience as a Narcotics Investigator and has provided advanced medical care as a Paramedic. Currently serving as the New York State Liaison for the Social Work and Law Enforcement (SWLE) Project since December 2023, Jessica is also a General Topics Instructor at the Rockland County Police Academy. Educational credentials include multiple graduate certificates in Cybercrime, Human Trafficking, and Digital Forensics Investigations, as well as a Master of Science in Financial Crime Investigations and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology.
