Kent Cagle is an experienced municipal manager currently serving as the City Manager for the City of Killeen, Texas since December 2019. Cagle has held several city management positions, including City Manager for the City of Leander from November 2011 to May 2019 and for Duncanville, Texas from January 2001 to November 2011. Prior roles include Assistant City Manager for the City of Duncanville from February 1997 to January 2001 and Director of Budget & Risk Management for the City of Carrollton from June 1990 to February 1997. Cagle began a career in public administration as a Senior Budget Analyst for the City of Plano and later served as an Administrative Analyst for the City of Lubbock. Cagle holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) and a Master of Public Administration (MPA) in Political Science and Government from Texas Tech University, completed in 1987.
