Chris Reeves, PE, PTOE, serves as the City Engineer for the City of Hoover since May 2020, after previously holding the position of Assistant City Engineer in the same municipality from November 2002 to May 2020. Additional experience includes a role as Traffic Engineer at Skipper Consulting, Inc. from May 2000 to October 2002, and as Graduate Civil Engineer with the Alabama Department of Transportation from July 1999 to May 2000. Prior positions include Civil Engineer at the City of Auburn, AL, and Allen Simpson Engineering, as well as Engineering Assistant at the Alabama Department of Transportation. Chris Reeves holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Auburn University and a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Management from the same institution, along with education at Calhoun Community College.
