David Anderson has over two decades of experience in community and recreational management. Currently serving as the Community Center Manager for the City of Gatlinburg since March 2021, David oversees staff and operations at the Gatlinburg Community Center in addition to managing parks and recreation programs. Prior to this role, David worked as the Recreation Superintendent for the Pigeon Forge Parks and Recreation Department from July 2017 to March 2021, where responsibilities included overseeing various programs and events. David also has an extensive background with the City of Gatlinburg, having worked as the Recreation Program Director from April 2002 to July 2017 and as a Recreation Programmer in Pigeon Forge from August 2001 to April 2002. David began a career in recreation services as a Graduate Assistant Baseball Coach at Lincoln Memorial University while earning a Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education/Fitness.
