Sarah Thompson has extensive experience in community development and facility management, currently serving as the Coordinator of Community Facilities for the City of Casey since August 2005. In previous roles, Sarah has led initiatives aimed at building partnerships to support an Age-Friendly City, coordinated volunteer and transport programs, developed grants, and engaged with community stakeholders. Additional experience includes a focus on health planning within the Municipal Health Plan and organizing community events for new residents. Prior to Sarah’s tenure at the City of Casey, experience includes serving as a Social Support Officer at the City of Melbourne, where responsibilities involved planning recreational activities for seniors. Sarah holds a degree in Social Science, specializing in Local Government, from RMIT University.
