Brendan Binns is an experienced water treatment professional currently serving as the Water Treatment Manager for the City of Billings since January 2023. Prior to this role, Binns held several positions at the City of Aurora, including Treatment Plant Supervisor and Water Utility Specialist, from January 2018 to January 2023. Binns also worked as a Water Treatment Operator at Aurora Water from September 2017 to January 2023 and as a Senior Water Treatment Operator at The Denver Water Recycling Plant from February 2012 to September 2017. Brendan Binns has a strong background in monitoring treatment plant operations, conducting laboratory testing, training junior technicians, and carrying out research on water treatment processes. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Engineering/Industrial Management and a Graduate Certificate in Water Engineering & Management from the University of Colorado Boulder, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology and a Certificate in Microbiology from the University of West Florida.
