Alain Daniel Broft is a PhD candidate specializing in Innovation Ecosystems at Eindhoven University of Technology since October 2022. In addition to this academic role, Alain serves as the Manager of Innovation and Managing Partner at EquInnoLab, focusing on sustainable practices in equestrian sports. Alain holds multiple consulting positions, including Equestrian Innovation Consultant at Equestrum and Practor for innovations in equestrian sports at both CITAVERDE College and Lentiz onderwijsgroep. Alain is also the Chairman of the VLO - Association of Logistics Designers, promoting networking and collaboration within the professional doctorate community. Furthermore, Alain has been a consultant for the World Bank Group, offering expertise in logistics for low and middle-income countries. Alain's earlier experience includes roles at EyeOn and Europhia Consulting, along with practical training as a Design Engineer at Eindhoven University. Alain's educational background comprises degrees in Industrial Engineering and Logistics Management Systems, complemented by advanced studies in European Studies and Russian language skills.
