Jim Pisano has over 39 years of experience in systems engineering and leadership, primarily at Cisco, where tenure began in April 1994. Currently serving as the Senior Systems Engineering Leader for the Worldwide Security Incubation Team, Jim oversees the technical team focused on Cisco's Cloud & Application Security Portfolio, which includes products like Hypershield and Multicloud Defense. Previous roles include Senior Manager positions in Systems Engineering for Data Center Solutions Architecture, Global Enterprise Theater, and Global Service Providers, where responsibility encompassed pre-sales support for major clients such as Citigroup, JPMorgan Chase, AT&T, and Verizon. Earlier career experience includes systems engineering at Data General Corporation, specializing in large-scale Unix server and storage implementations. Educational qualifications include an Associate of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from SUNY Westchester Community College.
