Maria Itria Ibba has a work experience that includes being the Head of the Wheat Chemistry and Quality Laboratory at the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT) since May 2019. Prior to that, they were a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Washington State University from May 2018. Maria Itria also completed their PhD at Washington State University from December 2014 to May 2018.
Maria Itria Ibba completed their education in the following order:
- From 2009 to 2012, they attended Università degli Studi della Tuscia and earned a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology.
- Following that, they pursued their Master's degree in Biotechnologies for the security and the quality of agricultural food productions from 2012 to 2014 at the same university.
- Lastly, from 2014 to 2018, they attended Washington State University, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Crop Science.
