Lineu Neiva Rodrigues is a seasoned water resources researcher with extensive experience in irrigation hydrology modeling and water resource management. Currently at Embrapa since October 2002, notable contributions include a visiting researcher position at the University of California in 2005 and service as a board member representing the Ministry of Agriculture on the National Water Resources Council from 2009 to 2012. Lineu also held significant roles, including Researcher at the National Council of Water Resources from 2010 to 2022, and President of the technical chamber of science and technology for the Irrigation and Water Resources Platform of PROCISUR from 2011 to 2016. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Agricultural Engineering and a Master's degree in Irrigation from Universidade Federal de Viçosa.
