Stephan Gelinas

Vice President, Global Customer Care at Ciena

Stephan Gelinas is the Vice President of Global Customer Care at Ciena, a role held since December 2019, responsible for overseeing global customer support, resident engineering, field maintenance, and managed services, with a focus on enhancing performance and customer experience. Prior to this position, Stephan served as Senior Director of Global Customer Care at Nokia from May 1998 to December 2019, where leadership of the Technical Support Organization for the Americas was provided. This role involved managing customer technical support across numerous countries for the Fixed Networks Business. Stephan's earlier roles include Director of Customer Program Delivery, Business Transformation Leader for the IP Division, and various management positions in IT metrics and program management. Stephan holds a Bachelor of Computer Science in Management & Information Systems from Carleton University, earned between 1995 and 2000.
