Mayank Khurana is a Lead Engineer at Ciena since December 2015, specializing in BluePlanet MCP NMS for managing Ciena’s network switches and devices, while also managing and technically leading a UI team for feature deliveries. Prior to this role, Mayank served as an Associate Technology L2 at SapientNitro from May 2014 to December 2015, where code optimization processes were streamlined, resulting in a 26% increase in unit testing efficiency for the Marks and Spencer eCommerce application. Earlier, as a Senior Software Engineer at IGATE from December 2011 to May 2014, Mayank designed and developed a backend web application for GE Asset Management using Java, J2EE, Struts, Spring DI, and JSP. Mayank holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Amity University, which was obtained from August 2007 to July 2011.
