Shanna Johnson has a long and varied work experience. Shanna began their career in 2000 as the Director of Content/Product Development at Masterkey, Inc. In 2001, they worked in Call Center Operations and Long Distance Moving Services at Public Storage, Inc. Shanna then moved to TeleInterpreters in 2006 as the Director of Operations, where they managed operations and service delivery. In 2008, they became the VP of Customer Operations at Blue Casa Communications, where they drove enterprise-wide strategic initiatives to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction. In 2011, they became the COO at Cogi, Inc. and in 2012 they became the COO at cielo24. In this role, they built and scaled operational infrastructure for Customer Success, Service Delivery, Sales Operations, Finance, Collections and Development. In 2016, they Co-Founded and became the CEO of Samara Data and also became the Chief Operating Officer at Tot Squad. Finally, in 2021, they became a Board Member at Subsea Data Systems, Inc.

Shanna Johnson attended St. Andrew's School from 1990 to 1994, and then Columbia University from 1994 to 1998, where they studied English and Philosophy. Shanna also holds a Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
