Mike Fisher is an experienced professional in urban planning and development, currently serving as the Place & City Transformation Manager at ChristchurchNZ since March 2021. In addition, Mike is the Director and Consultant at UrbanTacticians, providing consulting services to government and the private sector since January 2016. Mike holds an Adjunct Senior Fellow position at the University of Canterbury and previously managed the establishment of Riverside Market & Lanes from September 2018 to March 2021. Mike's background includes roles such as Manager City Planning & Development at Adelaide City Council and Team Leader Urban Regeneration at Christchurch City Council, as well as experience in various planning positions in the UK and New Zealand. Mike earned a degree in Resource & Environmental Planning from Massey University and furthered education at Imperial College London.
