Erica O'Brian has a long and varied work experience. Erica began their career in 2004 as an Administrative Assistant with the American Federation of Teachers in Vermont. In 2007, they moved to the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation & Historic Preservation as an Office Manager. In 2008, they were an Operations Manager at Venture Architecture, Inc. From 2011 to 2016, they were Director of Operations at Singlebrook Technology, Inc. In 2016, they joined Switch as Executive Assistant and Event Coordinator. Finally, in 2017, they became Co-founding Partner and COO of Chloe Capital, a movement-driven venture capital firm that invests in women-led technology companies.
Erica O'Brian attended State University of New York at Oswego from 2002 to 2003, where they studied General Studies. Erica then attended Burlington College from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Writing and Literature and Interamerican Studies.
