Karthik Raj is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in data platforms and engineering leadership roles. Currently, as a Staff Software Engineer at Chime, Karthik directs the development of a next-generation data platform, architecting self-service capabilities and a real-time data transformation platform. Previously, Karthik served as a Lead Software Engineer at Datavant, where foundational data pipeline engineering was a focus, and at Twilio Inc., contributing to scalable taxation and invoicing services for international markets while ensuring GDPR compliance. Karthik's earlier roles at Cisco included designing network communication protocols and developing RESTful APIs, alongside academic research in molecular dynamics at the Ohio Supercomputer Center. Karthik holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor's in Information Technology from Anna University Chennai.
