Bob Cordes has held multiple finance and administration positions throughout their career. Bob began in 1987 as a Controller at The Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce, and then moved on to become a Controller at Dragonette, Inc. from 1991 to 1994. In 1994, they joined The Chicago Council on Global Affairs as Vice President of Finance & Administration.
Bob Cordes has a strong educational background, with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance, General from Loyola University Graduate School of Business, which they obtained from 1983 to 1985. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English Language and Literature, General from Carleton College between 1977 and 1981.
In addition to their formal education, Bob Cordes also obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the State of Illinois in August 1995.
