Sonja Fischer, PhD, currently serves as Global Product Line Manager at Chevron since March 2019, having previously held the position of Global Category Manager at Chevron Downstream & Chemicals - Oronite from 2017 to 2019. Prior experience includes roles such as Global Business Integration Lead and Project Manager at Chevron Downstream & Chemicals - Global Planning & Optimization from 2012 to 2017, and Strategy and Management Consultant at A.T. Kearney in New York City from 2009 to 2012. Early career experience involves serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of New York and as a University Lecturer at the University of Cologne. Sonja Fischer earned a PhD in Synthetic Organic Chemistry from the University of Cologne, complemented by advanced studies in Metalorganic Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Hagen, University of Utah, and University of Murcia.
