Ian Boersma

Sr. Solution Architect/team Lead at Checkr

Ian Boersma has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Ian currently holds the position of Sr. Solution Architect at Checkr, Inc. Their previous work includes the role of Senior Technical Manager at The Hackett Group, where they served as a Technical Consultant for the Jibe Oracle Cloud Practice. Ian was responsible for designing, developing, and delivering complex data conversions, integrations, and reporting solutions in the Taleo and Fusion HCM platforms. Before that, Ian worked as a Sr. Technical Lead - Cloud at Cognizant, where they worked as a technical architect/consultant for their Oracle Cloud Practice. Ian played a crucial role in designing, developing, and delivering data conversions, integrations, and reporting solutions in the Taleo and Fusion HCM platforms. Prior to that, Ian worked at Oracle (Taleo) as a Senior Principal Consultant. Ian was responsible for designing and developing cloud integrations between the Taleo talent management application and external background screening, assessment testing, and regulatory service partners. Ian managed project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, successfully delivering over 75 integrations. Ian also worked at Ceridian as a Solution Architect/Product Manager, where they established a new Solution Architecture group for the Ceridian Recruiting Solutions application and implemented best practices for business analysis and requirements gathering methodologies. Ian supported the long-term success of the Ceridian applicant tracking system and was responsible for UI and data model design as the product owner for CRS's time entry module. During this time, Ian also worked at PracticeLogix as a Product Manager/Implementation Lead, overseeing product management and system design for a medical billing/practice management software start-up. Ian led the client implementation team and conducted focus groups with physicians and front office personnel to gather use cases and requirements. Earlier in their career, Ian worked at Nortel Networks as a Business Consultant, providing consulting services to large telecommunications companies implementing the Clarify eFrontOffice CRM application. Ian conducted stakeholder meetings, performed gap analyses, and developed software customizations. Ian also worked at Jones Cyber Solutions as a Business Analyst, spearheading the implementation of the ICSS telephony/cable management application in international markets. Ian conducted in-depth analysis of telecommunication companies' business processes, designed software enhancements, and traveled internationally to implement software and train end-users. Overall, Ian Boersma's extensive work experience reflects their expertise in technical consulting, solution architecture, and software development in various industries.
