Kinnal Desai has worked in a variety of roles since 2001. Kinnal began as a R & D Engineer at Hi-Rel Electronics Pvt Ltd. in 2001, then moved to Wipro Limited in 2005 as a Project Engineer. In 2009, they became a Sr. Developer at VCU - School of Medicine. In 2013, they took a position as Technology Analyst at Infosys BPM. Most recently, in 2018, they joined CHARGE+ZONE as a Program Manager - EVSE and Sr Software Engineer.

Kinnal Desai has an educational background in Electrical Engineering, having obtained a Bachelor's degree from L.D. College of Engineering. In 2000-2001, Desai completed a Diploma (C-DAC), Advanced Computing from Gateway Education and Training. Desai's educational foundation began with A. G. Higher Secondary School, where they studied Science.
