Furqan Ahmed has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of business development and program coordination. Furqan has worked in various organizations such as WaterAid, where they achieved a 100% win rate for all proposals and secured a significant contract worth USD 2.5 million. At CARE International UK, Furqan coordinated humanitarian funding opportunities, successfully raising GBP 400,000 for three emergencies. Furqan also held roles at Oxfam as a Country Funding Coordinator and a Programme Funding Manager, where they developed funding strategies, managed contracts, and led multi-million pound tenders. Additionally, Furqan has worked as an International Business Development Consultant, focusing on supporting organizations in securing grants and developing partnerships. Furqan has also held positions at the International Rescue Committee, TUSDEC, CHIP Training and Consulting, and the Micronutrient Initiative, where they played a key role in developing partnerships, winning bids, and managing funding portfolios. Throughout their career, Furqan has demonstrated strong skills in proposal writing, donor relations, and strategic partnership development.

Furqan Ahmed has a diverse education history. In 1990, they attended the University of Peshawar, where they pursued a Masters in Public Administration with a focus on Marketing and Project Management. Furqan successfully completed this program in 1992. In 2017, Furqan Ahmed also engaged in Continuing Coaching Education at the International Coach Federation, concentrating on Work Place Coaching.
