Pedro Duarte Vaz is a highly experienced scientific professional currently serving as Head Scientist at Tellspec and as a Scientist in the Lung Unit at Champalimaud Foundation. With a strong background in catalysis and nanoscience, Pedro has held various positions including Research Fellow and Instrument Scientist at the ISIS Pulsed Neutron & Muon Source, Assistant Professor at the Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa, and Scientific Coordinator at SGS. Pedro also provides consultancy services as a self-employed Scientific Consultant, specializing in implementing and validating new methodologies, improving workflows, and addressing laboratory challenges. Pedro holds a PhD in Chemistry from Universidade de Aveiro and a BSc in Chemistry from Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa.
