Jeanna Wilkes, DHA, currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Preventive Medicine at the John D. Bower School of Population Health at the University of Mississippi Medical Center since March 2019. Wilkes has held several significant roles including Coordinator of Special Projects for the Office of the Associate Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Social Media and Technology Specialist for the Graduate Training and Education Center within the Jackson Heart Study. Prior to the University of Mississippi Medical Center, Wilkes was at Delta State University from 2012 to 2019, where positions included Coordinator of Graduate Studies and Admissions and Director of Student Life and Orientation. Wilkes holds a Doctor of Health Administration from the University of Mississippi and multiple degrees from Delta State University, including a Master of Commercial Aviation, a Master of Business Administration, and a Bachelor of Science in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies.
