Nicole Whalen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership, program management, and climate change adaptation. As the Founder and CEO of Green Compass LLC since July 2017, Nicole has demonstrated entrepreneurial acumen. Previously, Nicole served as a Halcyon Fellow and held significant roles at Chemonics International as a Climate Change Adaptation Research Specialist and at the Pan American Development Foundation as Program Manager for Caribbean Programs. Nicole's career also includes contributions to the United States Institute of Peace, teaching at Lado International College, and coordinating finance and administration at Search for Common Ground. Nicole's educational background comprises a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies/Economics from New College of Florida and a Master's degree in Global Sustainability, with a focus on Water Resource Management, from the University of South Florida.
